The problem

The mansion-worthy, ornate pink marble floors in this La Jolla, CA home were hidden under a layer of dirt and grime, scuff marks and fine scratches, and an overall dull, old-looking surface. The grout also had a very poor appearance. Our restoration process

We carefully performed a 220-400-800 grit diamond hone to remove the scratched and damaged marble surface layer. Then we polished the floor and cleaned the grout lines. Finally, we applied a solvent-based, impregnating stone sealer to inhibit staining. The results were stunning, as you can see in the AFTER images.
