Limestone Problems
Located in Rancho Santa Fe, this honed limestone floor had become dull and lifeless. Over the years, it had taken on a dark, bronzed patina, and the grout lines had become very dirty. In addition, as you can see in the BEFORE image, this floor had holes that needed to be filled.
Our Solution
First, we honed and cleaned the floors to remove surface damage and dirt. Then we lightly polished the limestone to the homeowner’s desired finish. Finally, we re-sealed the stone to inhibit staining and filled the holes with epoxy tinted to match the surrounding stone. See the results of our work in the AFTER image.
