Grease and Grime-Caked Travertine Backsplash
This travertine backsplash served as a focal point in this San Diego kitchen. Unfortunately, its warm and welcoming tones were obscured by grease, grime, food and sauce splatters, and other contaminants.
Our Travertine Backsplash Restoration Process
We masked and protected the surrounding surfaces before beginning our work. Then, we sprayed down the stone with a powerful and effective stone cleaner, specially formulated to safely deep clean travertine. We hand painstakingly hand cleaned the stone until it was completely sanitized. Finally, we flushed and rinsed away any cleaning residue, leaving this backsplash beautiful and elegant once again.
