Chipped White Limestone Shower Threshold
Limestone is a calcium-based stone and that, like all other types of natural stone, is susceptible to damage. La Jolla, California homeowners contacted us when their limestone shower threshold sustained several chips along the edge. We assured them that we could repair the chips and refinish the stone to like-new condition.
Limestone Chip Repair and Refinishing
First, we used painter’s tape and drop cloth to protect the surfaces surrounding our work area. We used custom-tinted, color-matched epoxy filler to fill in the voids. Once it set, we buffed the repaired areas to smooth them out and blended these portions in with the rest of the shower threshold.
The homeowners were very pleased with the outcome.
