The Problem

This twenty-five-year-old polished Rojo Alicanate marble vanity in La Jolla, CA had bad water damage, as you can see in the BEFORE image. The deep, bold color it once had was lost with time and use.

Our Solution

First, we revealed the brand new stone underneath all the damage by removing a very thin upper layer. Our honing process brought out the rich, luxurious patina of the marble, as you can see in the AFTER image. We polished to achieve the homeowner’s desired finish. The final step was to reseal the stone.
