Travertine floor lost its sheen
This travertine floor in La Jolla, CA had lost its sheen from dirt and foot traffic, and the grout lines were clearly dirty as well. The owners called us in to resolve these problems and restore the natural beauty of the stone.
Our Solution
First, we re-honed the floors to remove surface damage, bringing the soft sheen back the owners originally wanted. Then, we deep-cleaned the grout lines and resealed the floor with a solvent-based impregnating sealer to inhibit future staining.
