Dull, Dirty, Damaged Travertine Floor
Homeowners in La Jolla, California were not happy with the appearance of their travertine floor. The finish was dull, the grout lines were dirty, and some of the fillers in the stone had come loose. They contacted us for a free estimate and contracted with us for professional travertine restoration services.
Our Travertine Floating and Refinishing Process
As with every job we do, we masked and protected the surfaces surrounding our work area. We filled in the holes and honed the travertine to remove surface damage. Then, we polished using a series of progressively finer grit diamond pads mounted on a floor machine. Once we achieve an elegant, reflective polished finish, we finished up by cleaning and applying a high quality impregnating sealer to inhibit staining.
The homeowners were amazed at the difference!
